Welcome to my "Florida" blog

Being a third generation Florida native, I'm completely enamored with the diverse beauty of this gorgeous peninsula. For most of the year the weather is divine which makes exploring its unlimited nooks and crannies fun and easy.

Wherever I go I appreciate nature and the world around me. Come along with me as I share the places I visit and perhaps a few other amusements I find interesting along the way.

Where Am I?

For all you Florida enthusiast and even those who have an occasional interest in my beautiful state... here's how this works: I thought it might be fun to occasionally post some of the random photos I've taken from my romp-abouts in Florida and then you get to guess where I was when I took the photo... or where the scene is that the photo represents (whichever applies). If you'd like to include your thoughts (or your own experience) about the photo or the area it represents I'd love to hear about that, too.
Thanks for playing along. Meems

You're at the Don Caesar!!! Oh how I miss home.

What are you doing over there?

Hey Marmee,
St. Leo's is beautiful but not there... hey, watch for that in another Where Am I.

Hey Ehrenfelds,
Can you believe there are two old pink buildings in the same county? Just drove by the Don a few weeks ago but this photo isn't from there.

I thought you came home in April??? Must have missed you for that garden tour???

Oh, I think Cathy beat me to it. I don't think I've ever been that close. Were you staying there?!

Meems said...

YAY... I should have a prize or something to pass out.

Yes, she did. Only by a few hours though and we can all rest assured you knew exactly what building it was.

We always "talk" about staying there but we were across the street at the park. Will publish a post soon about our day there.

Thank you ALL for giving it your best shot!
