Welcome to my "Florida" blog

Being a third generation Florida native, I'm completely enamored with the diverse beauty of this gorgeous peninsula. For most of the year the weather is divine which makes exploring its unlimited nooks and crannies fun and easy.

Wherever I go I appreciate nature and the world around me. Come along with me as I share the places I visit and perhaps a few other amusements I find interesting along the way.

Fabulous photos. I have been in California for the past two weeks. I didn't dare look at your blogs until I got back. Even though I was raised in California, I was missing "home". I enjoyed catching up today with you today :)

Looking a lot like the Suwannee River. Thanks for posting these shots while I'm living abroad. Be back real soon to enjoy the real thing.

Very, very lovely. The rivers and lakes throughout Florida are wonderfully scenic and our sunsets and sunrises make for very special photos.

DAWG! You were so close! What part of the river were you on? I've been blog-truant for a few weeks now, just trying to keep up with real life. Were y'all up here for the game? Sorry it was such a disappointment. Interestingly enough, my verification word is state. 8-]

Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

Oh, I would love to actually be ON this river.

I imagine California was fabulous! So nice to have you home though... thanks for stopping by and catching up.

There are so many small towns in Florida ... it is not a surprise to find those we haven't heard of. Wakulla is the county just south of Tallahassee... it is very "old Florida" and beautiful.

So many great rivers in Florida!

You are so right... all the water makes for good photos and a good time!

We have been all over your neck of the woods lately. That evening we were eating at the little cafe on the river at the end of Woodville Rd. We drove around the bend and the sun was setting so we got out of the car, took a stroll, found a bench and breathed it in.

That game was not fun... but we will be back for the next one. :-)
